My husband and I began coming to Kayla’s when it first opened and we both said this place is special. She served what is hands down the BEST bread pudding I have ever had and we never had a bad meal. We have since left Louisiana but when we visit, we will definitely come to Kayla’s.
Kayla’s Kitchen is not only the cleanest, but the best home cooking in the area! I have never been disappointed. Her catering is exceptional (as a baker I have weddings with many different caterers)! The presentation is as great as her food! Kayla & Mrs. Barbara are neat, clean, professional as well as great flavor! JUST LOVE THE POT ROAST!!! I never thought anyone could beat my Mom’s pot roast, but Kayla did! Always having the different veggies in their own container is nice as nothing runs together! GREAT value for your meal! Friendly staff!
I just love Kayla’s!!! I started eating with them at the old location. The new location is wonderful. The food is excellent and the service is friendly. They serve real food not heated up frozen dinners. God bless you.
Kayla’s not only serves some of the finest home cooking in the area, but you’ll also find the atmosphere is relaxed and warm. Better service will be hard to find anywhere else. And, on top of all that… the prices are terrific. The next time you think about a quick bite, a sit-down meal or business luncheon, stop by Kayla’s Kitchen in West Monroe. You’ll be glad you did!
I love this place. The food was so good. I had the pork chops. I have also had the bread pudding and that is really good too. The staff is very good at helping you choose what to order although it is all good!
My husband, Ron, and I have become “regulars” at Kayla’s. We love it! Food is served fresh and hot and the service is wonderful. All the employees are friendly and make us feel at home when we’re there. Thanks, Kayla for the special things you do for Ron!
Suhan and I have enjoyed Kayla’s Kitchen when she first opened her tiny restaurant at the old location. I was intrigued by the way she served her delicious homemade food in tiny bowls. We followed her success to her larger current location. We love both the delicious food and the warm and friendly atmosphere. Both food and service is excellent. Over the years we’ve made several “lunch friends” there. We enjoy the warm and friendly atmosphere and the service and food is top notch.

Thank you so much for coming to my rescue with the casseroles for my Uncle Hubert’s funeral. It took so much off my mind to know your delicious food was available for take out casseroles. The food was a hit and everyone loved everything. I am going to remember this service for when we have family for my son’s wedding in September.

Kayla catered our wedding on March 24th, the food was great and presentation was perfect. The wedding guest complimented on how great the food was. Kayla will be used by us on many more occasions. Thank you Kayla.
We were fortunate to have Kayla cater our son’s wedding reception on 5/12. She did a wonderful job, and worked tirelessly throughout the reception to ensure that everything was just right. The food was delicious, and we plan to recommend Kayla to friends who may need her services. Her lunches are great, too.
Since opening day, Kayla’s has been my favorite and certainly was Sam’s favorite. I don’t recall ever eating anything there we didn’t like. Thanks, Kayla, for your special treatment of Sam.

What a privilege to have a homemade platelunch or salad any day of week at Kayla’s Kitchen in downtown West Monroe. The food is always outstanding and tasty. There are so many choices to choose from. I like having the tea and dessert included in the meal. I enjoy taking a friend to eat and fellowship in a nice setting. The waitresses are kind and friendly. The owners are top knotch fine people. I try to go a couple days a week. I love eating at Kayla’s.
NEVER a bad meal at Kayla’s. It is a treat to eat lunch at Kayla’s. The food is always tastefully prepared and the servings are just right.
We eat Kayla’s pretty much everyday!!! We have since the first day!! Love the food, love the people!! Kayla will come out and talk to you if she’s not busy….you just feel like family when you walk in. We will definitely continue to eat here!!!
